Be the Change is an innovative online program for high school students throughout the globe that provides them the tools and capabilities to leverage technology for social change. Through a six week program involving a network of prestigious mentors, we teach students the fundamentals of systems thinking, problem identification, and leveraging technology to foster social change.

Alumni Network

  • Naiya and Siddhartha are award winning social entrepreneurs in the California Bay Area. Naiya’s passion for wellbeing led her to create an AI solution to detect online hate speech where she was recognized by the Congressional App Challenge. Siddhartha’s passion for climate change lead to his creating AI applications to assist with fire detection and containment, for which he won the first place prize at the Silicon Valley Science Fair two consecutive years, and has led to his receiving honorary board membership on the Santa Clara County Fire Safe Council.

  • Be the Change is a global initiative founded to empower youth by offering an immersive six-week program, where students from across the globe collaborate to develop skills in Systems Thinking, Problem Identification, and Technology for Positive Change. The program aims to cultivate young change-makers and to provide them with the tools and capabilities to build innovative solutions in their communities.

  • Be the Change utilizes online meeting spaces to reach schools across the globe. We have developed a proprietary curriculum to empower students to become change makers. We partner with schools to ensure that students are able to truly enrich themselves in this program. Our goal is to foster a conducive environment for transformative learning experiences.
