Siddhartha Daswani, a high school student, is dedicated to combating Climate Change and wildfires. His personal experience with Bay Area fires has fueled his exploration of AI and environmental preservation. Over three years, he's researched AI's role in wildfire prevention, developing software to detect smoke in images and predict fire spread direction with 98% accuracy in under a minute. His achievements include winning tech challenges, being a top 3 California contender, and receiving the Most Promising Scientist Award. He's an Honorary Member of the Santa Clara FireSafe Council and has spoken at global policy and AI summits. Besides his AI work, Siddhartha is the National Lincoln Douglas Debate Champion and teaches kindergarteners about mindfulness and climate awareness on Sundays.
